Yes—two separate photos can be used to plan one custom couple figurine. The people do not need to appear together in the same original image. Clear references and a few simple notes help us understand how they should look together in the final design.
This approach is useful when you are preparing an anniversary, wedding, engagement, long-distance relationship, or surprise gift and do not have one ideal photo of both people.
What to send for each person
For each person, start with a clear, well-lit face photo. Add a full-body or outfit reference when clothing, shoes, posture, or proportions matter. The two source photos can come from different days or locations.
- Face reference: a front-facing or slightly angled image with the eyes, hairstyle, and facial features visible.
- Outfit reference: a full-body image or a separate clothing photo if you want a specific dress, suit, uniform, or casual look.
- Pose notes: tell us whether the couple should stand side by side, hold hands, hug, or use another simple pose.
- Placement: label who should appear on the left and right.
- Height relationship: mention whether one person should appear taller, shorter, or about the same height.
- Personal details: include glasses, jewelry, flowers, accessories, names, a date, or other details that matter.
You can review the broader reference checklist in How to Choose the Best Photo for a Custom 3D Figurine.
How we combine separate references
We use the photos as visual references for one coordinated, stylized design. Your instructions connect the two people: which outfit belongs to whom, the intended pose, their relative height, and any occasion-specific details.
If the photos have very different lighting, angles, or image quality, send an extra face reference where possible. More useful angles can reduce guesswork, but you do not need a professional photo shoot.
What the free preview looks like
The standard preview direction is a full-body 3D cartoon chibi figurine with a matte plastic look, no realistic fur, clean C4D-style rendering, a pure white background, and no display base. It is intentionally stylized rather than photorealistic.
Your first design preview is free, and no purchase is required to receive it. Review the concept, request the important corrections, and order only after you approve the direction.
Separate-photo checklist
- Send at least one clear face image for each person.
- Add full-body or outfit references when clothing and pose matter.
- Label each person clearly.
- State left-to-right placement and approximate height relationship.
- Describe the pose and occasion.
- List must-keep details such as glasses, hairstyle, bouquet, uniform, or jewelry.
- Tell us the date you need the finished gift.
How long should you allow?
Production takes approximately 8–10 days after final design approval and payment. International shipping from China is additional and varies by destination, carrier, customs processing, and local delivery conditions. Start early for weddings, anniversaries, and fixed-date gifts.

Frequently asked questions
Do the two photos need the same background?
No. The backgrounds do not need to match because the photos are used as subject references.
Can the outfits come from different photos?
Yes. Label the face and outfit references clearly so we know which elements should be combined for each person.
Can you create a pose that is not shown in either photo?
You can request a simple pose in your notes. The free preview lets you review whether the proposed pose works before deciding to order.
What if I only have one photo of one person?
Send the clearest image you have and explain which details matter most. We will use the preview stage to show the proposed interpretation before any purchase.
